Situation
IT security specialists Webroot were keen to secure a dedicated RPO provider who could solve their recruitment challenges.
As part of their talent solution, they wanted to reduce agency spending and lower time to hire (TTH).
They also sought to improve quality candidate pipelines, strengthen hiring manager engagement, and improve their employer brand.
After a competitive bid process, Hudson RPO was selected as Webroot’s end-to-end recruitment RPO provider for the EMEA region, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Austria.
Journey to success
To support Webroot’s talent objectives, a full-time, experienced Lead Recruiter was deployed remotely, accompanied by scalable talent sourcing support from our Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Edinburgh.
The CoE assisted with unexpected volumes and niche, hard-to-fill vacancies. Such roles included technically skilled IT/DevOps/engineers, sales, and customer support. They also included central corporate functions, including finance and marketing.
During implementation, we worked closely with Webroot to support their technology needs. Operating as partners to Webroot’s internal talent team, we deployed InGenium, our bespoke applicant tracking system (ATS). We also used Xref to drive efficiency during pre-employment candidate screening stages.
Project expansion
Thanks to our partnership, Webroot has significantly lowered its time-to-hire from approximately 40 days down to nine days. We’ve also achieved 100% client satisfaction rates and an impressive 0% agency spend.
Behind the scenes
We are proud to support Webroot with various company events, including hackathons and breakfast meetings. This helps increase brand awareness and improve the applicant flow for technology roles, particularly in the UK.
LinkedIn training has also been delivered for all Webroot managers across all EMEA offices. This has been positively received.
About the client
