Talent Sourcer (1-Year Contract with Strong Potential for Extension)
Location: Remote, Canada About the Role:
Hudson RPO is seeking a proactive and skilled Talent Sourcer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of identifying, engaging, and attracting top-tier talent to meet both current and future hiring needs. You’ll collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific requirements of each role and create tailored strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Identification & Outreach
- Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and networking events to identify passive and active candidates.
- Design and implement effective sourcing strategies based on the role, industry, and geography.
- Engage with candidates through email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in opportunities.
Pipeline Development & Management
- Build and manage talent pipelines for both immediate and future job openings.
- Cultivate relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a continuous flow of talent.
- Maintain detailed candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for future openings.
Screening & Shortlisting
- Conduct initial candidate screenings via resumes and pre-screening calls to assess suitability for roles.
- Present shortlists of qualified candidates to recruiters and hiring managers.
Market Research & Networking
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and the overall talent landscape.
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to meet potential candidates and promote our employer brand.
Collaboration with Recruiters & Hiring Managers
- Work closely with recruiters to understand specific job requirements and create candidate profiles.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role expectations and refine sourcing strategies.
Employer Branding
- Promote Hudson RPO as an employer of choice in the talent marketplace.
- Ensure a positive experience for all candidates, even those who may not be selected, reflecting our commitment to great candidate care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in talent sourcing or agency recruitment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS systems). Experience with Boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing methods.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage, influence, and build rapport with candidates.
- Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills to connect with candidates and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, sourcing data, and candidate behaviors to refine strategies.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with candidate management systems, CRM platforms, and social media recruiting tools.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work closely with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience sourcing for roles in energy, utilities, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of employer branding and effective candidate engagement strategies.
