2015 UK Modern Slavery Act

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain

ZERO TOLERANCE
Hudson RPO has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

SUPPLY CHAIN
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place systems to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains;
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains; and
  • Protect whistle blowers

CLIENTS
Hudson RPO recognises that some of the sectors in which its clients operate will be more susceptible to human trafficking and slavery than others, but the Company is committed to ensuring the highest standards, irrespective of sector. We believe that, in conjunction with policies implemented by our clients, we can drive out any aspects of human trafficking and slavery from ours and our clients’ supply chains. Whenever applicable, Hudson RPO will identify to its clients any non-compliance with the legislation.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR MONITORING BEHAVIOUR
Whether in their capacity as employees of the Company or as candidates, everybody is treated with respect. All staff have a personal responsibility for maintaining a respectful work atmosphere, free of abusive or unprofessional conduct. Every employee is expected to respect other people and treat them with dignity at all times.

The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain is the responsibility of all those working for Hudson RPO or under its control. All persons are required to avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of the law or a violation of human rights. All staff are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue of suspicion of modern slavery in any parts of our business or supply chains at the earliest possible stage.

APPLICATION OF THIS STATEMENT
The principles set out in this statement apply to all employees, agents, contractors and those parties in our supply chain wherever they operate. Any employee who breaches this policy will face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal.

The Company may terminate its relationship with other individuals and organisations working on its behalf if they breach any of the principles described above.
